Is this SP350 solar panel compatible with other brand trail cameras:

Yes. The SP350 Solar Panel provides two types of plugs: 5.5 x 2.1mm and 4.0 x 1.7mm. Additionally, it offers three output voltage options: 6V/2A9V/1.3A, and 12V/1A. It would be compatible with other brand trail cameras. However, it’s essential to consider a few factors when using this solar panel with different brand trail cameras together: the plug size to camera, the output voltage.

Which Meidase Trail Cameras can use this solar panel:

The SP350 solar panel is compatible with the following Meidase trail cameras: P60, P60 Pro, P70, P80 Pro, P90, P90 Pro, P100, P200, S5, S900, S950, S960trail camera.

The Interfaces of SP350 Solar Panel:

  1. Three-position voltage output switch. Switchable output voltage: 6V/9V/12V.
  2. Type-C Charging Port. Limited charge voltage: 5V. Max. charging current: 2.4A.
  3. Charging indicator. When the charging indicator light is on, it signifies that the solar panel is being charged either through the Type-C charging port or by converting sunlight.
  4. Battery level detection button, Pressing this button will turn on the battery level indicators to check the battery power of the solar panel.
  5. Battery level indicators. Each indicator represents 25% charge, 4 indicators being illuminated to indicate a full charge.

Please remember to double-check the compatibility and follow the manufacturer’s guidelines, the importance of selecting the correct output voltage for your camera’s power supply:

  1. Camera Power Supply Requirement: Each trail camera has specific power requirements. These requirements include the voltage (V) and current (A) needed to operate the camera. Before connecting your solar panel, check your camera’s user manual or specifications to find out the required voltage.
  2. Solar Panel Output Voltage: The SP350 Solar Panel offers three output voltage options: 6V/2A9V/1.3A, and 12V/1A. You must choose the voltage that matches your camera’s requirement. If your camera requires 6V, select the 6V output; if it requires 12V, choose the 12V output, and so on.
  3. Voltage Mismatch: Connecting a solar panel with the wrong voltage can lead to issues. If the panel provides too high a voltage, it might damage your camera. Conversely, insufficient voltage may result in the camera not functioning properly.
